I'm Karen Kenney. This is me with my first dog, a Scottie named Candy Tuft.

Candy was my big sister, my teacher and my best friend. We were inseparable!

From my earliest memories, I have felt a special bond with animals and they with me.

I'm a local girl, born in Berkeley and raised in the

Rockridge and Montclair areas of Oakland. My family has

always had dogs and cats. When I was a child my parents

bred and showed Scottish Terriers. My sister and I went

with our parents to all their dog shows. I loved taking care

of the dogs, helping with the grooming & learning about

showing dogs. I especially enjoyed taking care of new puppies.

Although I studied commercial art and drama in school, I somehow ended up with a career

in sales. I decided to leave the rat race in the summer of 2004. After a few months of soul searching, I started Piedmont Avenue Pet Sitters (our name changed to Piedmont Pet in 2008). Now I have the perfect job combining my love for animals with my artistic talents!

I'm Matthew Kenney: an artist, a writer, and a lover of the Marin Headlands.

 Before we started this business, I had house sit dogs and cats for my friends. I love the eager expression dogs have when they are getting ready to be walked; I feel their joy.

Hi! I'm Max Kenney, I'm 13 1/2 years old. I love to ride in the car, go for trail hikes with my friends, hang out in my backyard and lay on the couch while watching TV with my family. Click on my photo to view my Dogster webpage!

Hi, my name is Valentina Peric. When I was a child I had a habit of bringing home every homeless animal that I found! Life without animals is something that I would not be able to endure.

I am a proud guardian of two amazing boy cats Mickey and Fela whom I adore as much as they adore each other! Together they go by the name “Band of Brothers”. The first time I met a pet sitter, I knew I wanted to become one. After 7 years of pet sitting and dog walking, I am delighted to be with my animal friends as much as I was when I first started.
