I was born in Berkeley, raised in Oakland and San Lorenzo. When I was a child my family owned Banlo Kennels which bred and showed Scottish Terriers. My sister and I went with our parents to the dog shows. I loved taking care of the dogs, helping with the grooming & learning about showing dogs. I especially enjoyed taking care of new puppies. We always had several of our own Scotties and when I was in Jr. high we added a cat. Although I studied commercial art, photography and drama in school, I somehow ended up with a career in sales. I started my pet care business in 2004.
